next year i might be putting a 1275cc in with a 5 speed box and maybe spax suspension. but im gona ask them first how much it would cost me.

Well my 'new' car has a 1098cc engine, alloys and spax and my insurance for that was almost £700. Not sure how much the bigger engine and 5 speed box will increase it by :-?

Definitely get a quote before spening the time and money on the modifications.

Hi. I insured my '65 1098 Minor this Febuary on provisional for £1000. I passed my test in June and the amount stayed the same. This was with FJ and using the MMOC club discount. Next year I have been told it will reduce quite dramatically as well. :)
