Waiting for the part that never comes...

Our garage reckon that they have ordered a part from the morris minor centre, Northampton?? We reckon they haven't and are buying time? I can't even find a Morris minor parts company in Northampton!? Any ideas?

Morris Minor Centre is in Birmingham !
Ask them for the order number so you can chase it up ;-)

Most companies will supply parts by return of post so if the garage uses that excuse for more than a few days then they are having you on.
What part are you waiting for?
I don't know of any Minor parts suppliers in Northampton either.

Why would they be 'buying time' anyway -what advantage would they get ? And indeed - what is this vital part they need?

Hi Ben the specialist that used to be in Northampton was called Masons but he retired and closed up his business and sold his stock off some years ago, and as mentioned the spares specialists have very quick turnaround on parts, unless its an out of stock item, what part is it.
