Morris Minor Mornington Crescent
Hello everybody
Many of you will know this game from Radio 4's 'I'm sorry I haven't a clue'. What is less well known is that the Morris engineers developed a version of this in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence in the late fifties as part of the cold war effort. I thought it might be fun to play.
We will play the simple version to start. The object here is to get to a Morris 1000 Saloon. BMC cars are wild, and the Morris Million can only be used as a rebuttal.
Feel free to join in. Here is a nice simple opening move...
Austin A30.
Good luck!

Think the rules are a bit elusive, but essentially, if you need to ask, you shouldn't be playing! It's more a state of mind than a game, and I for one, am of too nervous a temperament to participate!Dean wrote:?
Any chance of some rules? Sorry, I've never heard of the game....
Just think like the Goodies would have, to get an idea

Lovely move, Simmitc - I have not seen the Napoleon loop in years.
That was a fantastic piece of opportunism, Roger. The Jowett Javelin is not blind because of the Yorkshire exclusion. A good win!
Let's play the Munich variation this time, which allows German cars to be dismantled in the Home Counties...

Ahh you can't catch me out that easily.
I am fully aware I can't use cars with any Whitworth bolts after 10 pm. Nice try though.
