NEC Classic Car Show

Post by pao7psb »

Anyone going? And if so what day? And do you have an Autojumble hit-list?

Mine is:

Indoor car cover (advice appreciated)
Low-tech dehumidifer (bags of crystals????)
Details of a steering wheel restoration specialist
Black leather MMOC owners club gearknob (make sure you stock up, guys..)
Some period literature (repro ads etc)

Cheers,

Paul.

Saving up for the car park charges. Are there any advanced purchase discount tickets available?
I shall be after a set of gaskets for my Series MM. I hope I don't spend as much as last year!
My preference is for the varnished wood gear knob.

Yes, you can save £5 off a single ticket and up to £13 off a family ticket against the 'on the door' entry price if you're a club member. And according to the ad the Club gets a £1 commission if you hand your ticket stub in to the club stand.

I have been asked to take my car for the stand. I should be there Thurs. afternoon till Sunday. I am not sure if there's enough to keep me occupied.

Hi Santa, good to see you here. Hope you enjoy both the show and this site. We did three and a half days at the show a few years ago, and certainly didn't get bored. You can always take a train into Birmingham and look at the city and shops. Hope to see you again soon.

I'll be there but on the Minor LCV Register stand. It's directly across from the MMOC stand.

Should see some of you there.
