Propshaft trouble
I disconnected the propshaft from the diff end but i cannot for the life of me get it off the gearbox end. I did a bit of searching on the site and it jest says to pull it off. Me and a friend were pull as hard as we could but it didnt move at all. Has anyone got any ideas on how to get it off???

Well, I guess if I can't shift it on my own, I can just do the rear flange up again and I'm no worse off.mike.perry wrote:Mine came out of my Traveller no problems

Should be ok - clean them and add a spot of Loctite if worried. The prop shaft should just slide out - hopefully you will have drained the gearbox oil first - but still be prepared for a small puddle. If it won't slide out - you have to assume the splines have twisted - and/or the shaft and /or bush have worn into a step and are locked together!

Havent got round to it yet as i have been preping the chassis but if its like the others say then good hit will do the trick. Im going to give it a go tommorrow.Axolotl wrote:Maverick, did you get it out?
