Engine Rebore

All of the manuals quote the maximum rebore for 1098 engines as +20 but up to +40 piston sets are available
Any advice?

If you need to fit 0.040 pistons there should be no problem.
The side valve engine quotes 0.040 pistons but it will safely go out to 1.5mm = 0.063.

There are +60 and +80 (maybe even + 100) pistons available from Australia - at a price!
