Bear with me if this is widely known, but I recently had some difficulty lining up a front wing, the gap between the rear of the wing and front of the door, at the lower edge was way too wide and not level with the door.
I had tried all the tricks to correct this with no luck. Then for some reason I removed the hockey stick from the front and slightly pulled the wing out at this point---- the result was a beautifully parallel rear gap and a flush fit with the door! I just needed to drill another hole 1/8'' to the side of the original bottom hockeystick hole to keep this position before refitting. I had been pondering this problem for weeks.
Hope someone may benefit from this.

Common problem with pattern front wings. (The rears are so much better). I've even had to weld an additional flange to the front of the wing for the hockey stick holes in the past cause i was trying to fix into fresh air !!!
