1098 quoted power output?
The quoted output for the 1098 Moggy seems to be 49BHP at 5100rpm.
The quoted output for my boys' Austin 1100 is 55 BHP at 5500rpm.
Same engine, carb, air filter, manifolds, similarly strangled exhaust.
Where did they find another 6 bhp from? Is there thicker carpet in the Moggy stopping the accelerator going right down??

Morris Minor 48 bhp - and Austin 1100 also 48 bhp! The 55 bhp was only for the twin carb/3 branch exhaust/12G295 headed engines- in the MG/Riley/Wolseley versions - was there a Wolseley - can't remember! If there was - it certainly just had the same size (and hopeless!) brakes as the others !

This one has the "swing" calipers with tapered disc pads- never seen anything like it!! What on earth was in the mind of the designer?
Don't know about their efficiency, but the chap I bought it off had driven it home when he had collected it, and not noticed that it only had pads in the l/h side caliper!
