I am restoring,the reason for the lowered look is the crossmember is knackered and has gone through the floor!so i have a lot to do

I hope you haven't under-estimated the amount of work this car is going to require!! Looks like a major project to me.

Have a sniff to be sure !
The upper body looks good, very little, if any rust coming through from the inside on the door or the front wing.
Maybe the last owner took it out on an icy, newly salted road, had a scary experience, then parked it up for several years?
