I like them all but currently only own 1000’s.

I’d like a split-screen convertible one day as a weekend car but like driving them too much to do that at the moment. All of mine, that are on the road, get used daily and I don’t think the MM and Series II’s are up to driving me and the brood around all of the time. I have owned a Series II 4 door but it got nicked and scrapped :(. Perhaps sometime again soon.

Actually I think the fact that we all like 'em all is a bit of a "given" :D I am partial to Series II's because both the ones I;ve owned have been II's but any Morrie is a good Morrie!

Maybe a good question would be what is your "dream" Morrie? For me, an MM convertible.

One day I'd like to have a convertible, but only when I have a proper garage to keep it in. :D

I'll be the first to admit that at one time (Possibly due to ignorance) I wasn't keen on them. My conversion to them was a gradual process and when I bought my Traveller, it was because I wanted a working car, that was practical and had good spares back up (If I had bought a new car and accepted dealer serving or spent a small fortune on diagnostic software, how long before the dealer says "We don't carry spares for that anymore?). Because I commute by bicycle, even the Traveller gets relatively little use and it lives indoors.

Although my father had told me that Minors were good cars and that they handled well, I was still pleasantly surprised after I had mine (OK it's a tad top heavy). I have had numerous Minis, a Golf GTI, Scirocco Storm, a couple of MGs and a single seater racing car. The Traveller may be the least chuckable but its still good and more forgiving than the Golf was, if you overcook it a bit. Its predictable.

Since having the car it has grown on me and I now have more of an interest in the rest of them. If there is a model which interests me the least, it might be a S2.........an original MM lowlight rather appeals, even though they aren't very fast. I once borrowed a circa 1960 4 door, with working trafficators and the three spoke wheel. It had leather seats but was very tired. If I'd been in the position to buy it and restore it, I'd have been interested to bring it back to its former glory, as it was clearly a nice car once upon a time.

So to sum up, all of them :D .

I'm also going to vote 'all of them', I've only owned minor 1000s but my dream car would be a SII 4-door, I don't why but they seem to be the best looking.

I like all, but have less love for convertibles and lowlights (just my preferences).
Have owned all variants except convertibles and MMs... might own a highlight MM one day but I don't have the time space or money for at least a few years.

I love the look of the lowlights but as a Minor is my only car and need a daily driver couldn't really cope with the 918 side valve ( I once owned a Morris 8 in the 70's) They look wonderful though so my vote would go to the MM
