Post by FrankM83 »

HI al was going to fit those velvet thingys that fit at the top of the door at the bottom of the window on each side, the ones I ordered came with a silvery stip showing, is this supposed to be showing or not, as if it stays showing the clips will show also, don't know if you understand what I'm syaing but maybe someone who did it will know to what im refering? Thanks

i think it make sense...

the velvety bit goes up the metal bit points down so yes it might still be visible but you would have to be looking down into the door internals.

if i have miseed your point then no i did not make sense

The window seals are meant to fit with the metal strip at the bottom, however I prefer them the other way up as they don't start to look tatty after a couple of years. They are pretty ineffective which ever way they go.
I have seen a Minor with modern rubber seals which do a proper job of keeping the rain water out of the doors
