Front Wings

Hi,
I have just removed my two front wings and realised there is no piping on the top edge, should there be? i seem to remember my last minor had piping.

Others will correct me but I understand the older ones had piping but it was done away with on the later ones. My ute doesn't have it - just has a joint sealer.

Front wing piping was discontinued from January 1955
