wing mirrors

Post by pjh56 »

Can anyone tell me what shape the original wing mirrors were factory fitted on 1970 MM saloons, I have rectangles but have seen quite a few cars with round ones, and am curious to know if the one's on my car are original. :-?

Wing mirrors were a dealership fit so they would have fitted whatever was in stock. Generally round mirrors are found on older cars and rectangular on the newer cars.
I am now going to get dozens of posts disagreeing with me.
