Shopping last monday for some morris parts

Post by skelly »

Monday last week my friend gave me a copy of minor matters, Looking through I noticed someone local to me that works on Morris minors and also supplies parts.

Gave him a call, he was surprised I had called and asked where I have seen him advertising: I replied minor matters sir his replay was I have been retired for 7 years now and the company is no longer trading. But come along as I have a few bits left.

After I finished on the phone I noticed minor matters was dated 2001

Well when I got there his few bits turned into a garage full of used and nos items all for Morris minors you name it he had it :o . I asked him if he would be interested in selling all of it, naaaaaaa im keeping it he replied. I bought the items I was looking for and he only charged me a fiver for all the little items I was looking for.

I left my number and went away a happy chap :D

Well on Friday he called and asked if I was still interested in all the stuff for the Morris minors, told him I could not afford all the items he had. Two hours later after he asked me to come along and have a look at all the items, I took it all home in my friend’s est. car that was way over loaded with weight for a surprisingly small amount of money. :D

So it looks like I will be selling at a rock bottom prices all the parts I do not need and may well need your help.
I even have some nos traveler wood that is no good for me loads of early Morris stuff you name it I may well have it.

I have had a great weekend
Image

Image

Image
may I have a list of the chrome parts you have?

I fear that paint remover is a long-winded way of restoring my mog's original chrome xD

Hi Skelly sounds to me like you came across MASONS old stock. And if you happen to have a good interior light.
Cheers

So you live in Bozeat?

(For those who don't know, it's pronounced Bow-jeurt - and the "jeurt" is like the beginning of the French word "jeune").

I used to cover that village when I lived in Rushden! What a small world!

You aren't a R&DFC fan, are you?
