Will the bumper anchors support the car on a rotisserie?

Post by katy »

Hi, I was wondering if the 4 bumper attaching points would be adequate support to put the whole car ('61 2 door) on a rotisserie?
I would take the engine and transmission out first, seats and gas tank are already out, but would prefer to leave the rear axle ass'y in.
Need to replace a lot of the floor panels and most of the centre cross member.
TIA, Ken

I suppose it depends on how solid the car is where the mounts are attached. So check the boot floor and inner wings.
