Well found site! And they offer to 'customise' the advance curve - although how they know what's required is anyones (and theirs!) guess!

Is the 25d4 suitable for the 803 engine?

Hello all,

as far as I could see it doesn't specify the application. 25D4 is only a series number which doesn't mean that it is suitable as a replacement.
The curve mapping costs another £30 plus, that doesn't exactly come across as a bargain.

Especially as they will have no idea what curve to set for any particular engine! The only way to do that is by trial and error - either on a rolling road - or with many miles of uphill road work!

Has anyone bought one of these? The offer looks to good to be true given the cost of the competition?

New Lucas TVS distributors have been available for a while now. Asx for the advance curves they're probably copies of thr Aldon distributors.

Unfortunately - one 'size' (of advance curve) doesn't fit all.
