to those that are 'anti' boy racer / rear engine / air cooling...
It was truly heavenly to get my 911 back last week , even if I only drove her for a day. Now she's back in mothballs during the salty & slippy period.
Ahem.. where were we.. Oh yes, Moggy's rule

June 07 - back from Zwickau Trabi Treffen
Aug 07 & Aug 08 - back from the Lands End to Orkney in 71 pickup
Sept 2010 - finally gave up breaking down in a SII Landy...
where to break down next?
2013... managed to seize my 1275 just by driving it round the block
early 911?
Well it looks like a proper 911 if that's what you mean. The recent ones all look like boxters really -rumour has it they are intending to go back to round headlights on the 911 but we'll see.
Mine's an 1989 so it's the newest one you can get thats a real drivers car (no ABS power steering etc..)
Unfortunately I'm a bit too used to ABS so it can be a bit scary when it's wet. At least the Moggy doesn't lock all wheels at 70 when last minute braking at a roundabout...

Ray, I'm glad to hear that your 911 is not too late a model, I don't like the look of them either. My boss had a '95 model and I was not very keen on that (sounded good though!).
