TOYO OR BRIDGESTONE
Bull have two tyres advertised, just wondered if anyone has used the Toyo ones as they are nearly half the price of the Bridgestone, also are 155's OK for the Saloon always thought it should be 145's? Thanks Stephen.
145's are the closest to the old crossply's but many people use 155's (myself included) and they are fine. 145's are avalable from places such as Longstone Tyres but due to short production runs they tend to be very expensive. Bridgestones are good in my experience but I've never used Toyo's so cannot comment on them.....

I guess you pretty much get what you pay for - but I'm sure the cheaper ones will be fine for general motoring! Can you not get any locally to save enormous carriage costs ?
Black Circles will do you 2 x 155 Toyos for £69 delivered. Dunno how that compares ??
MYTyres will do 2 X 155 Toyos for £68 delivered. I'll leave you to continue the search!
155 are fine - if inflated to ~ 30 psi. My Trav was sliding about nicely today on very old 155s!

Hi
I have two toyo's on the rear of my 69 saloon and they are good tyres they give lots of grip and i dont have as many problems in the wet like i had with the old firestones that were on there when i got the car.

I've never used Toyos on a Minor but I've seen them on sale and the tread pattern looks fairly modern. They have a very good reputation in general.
When priced similar to Khumo and Nankang, I don't think the choice is hard!
