Interesting Traveller at Pickering Steam Rally 2009

Post by wanderinstar »

While on a day out at Pickering Steam Rally on Thursday I saw this Traveller.
Very interesting, the driver would be able to do most jobs with tools he had on board

The rear is just as interesting.

The canopy fitted into the raised roof section. Should have got one from the side.
( ignore the dates on photos as I changed the batteries and forgot to reset the date.)

Did he have a portable hoist fitted into the bonnet - beside the spare wheel and the First Aid kit ?

Cos he's got everything else in there :D . If you look close at the photos I sent you Steve, just above the small white table, you will see he has a full set of spanners on 2 magnetic rails.

Hope you had a ride on the Steam trains at NYM Ian! I've just passed my 'Firing' exam at Bo'ness - so now officially a 'Stoker' .
