Twice, actually - once on the way UP the Welsh coast road to Dolgellau, and once coming home!

Lovely pale green colour, it was, so I looked it up just now... look at this:

How does a car get to be first registered in 1980, when it was built in 1961, and has a non-age specific plate? And is a 948, for that matter?

Probably been off the road for a while previous to 1980 then re registered with a non transferable reg number.
