Contact your insurer and say that you want an agreed value and you can fill in some information about your car. They will then let you know and insure it for what they think the market value is.
I would say a bit more than that.cant realy tell without looking i would have said between 600 to 1000

I don't think that having no insurance will lower the valueandrew.searston wrote:i dont know if josh has told anyone but is declared off the road
so has no insurance or tax

Don't know if I dare say this... In Practical Classics they publish a price list every month. For a Minor Series II it says - Good Condition: £2750, Average: £1300 and Rough: £350

It's a difficult time for selling - see how many minors are on ebay, and check their prices. Some folk still think that their car is worth a fortune - hence they don't sell. You have to price realistically to get any interest. The last one I sold would have in good times made £2k+, but I took £1200 - and not a lot of interest at that, despite having one of the best interiors I'd seen (in leather), and a fortune in bills.
Folk also don't like travelling to view, so where you stay has a huge bearing on what you get for it.
It's very hard to put a price on a car without seeing it, and I would suggest that the practical classic guide is for good times.

It doesn't matter what they say.
At the end of the day it comes down to what someone is willing to pay.
Maybe it will be the colour they are looking for or it looks just like the one dad ( or granddad ) had.
You won't know until you put it on the market.
Put a reserve on if there is a price you would feel was robbing you if you want.
It simply isn't an exact science.

I was just adding it for informational purposesIt doesn't matter what they say.

you could stick it on ebay with a reserve that nobody is stupid enough to bid up to and just see what sort of offers you get.Put a reserve on if there is a price you would feel was robbing you if you want
