Well done - the improvement in the damping can indeed be remarkeable! What grade of oil did you decide to use ?

I went with 20-50W as that's what I had to hand. Works well!

Excellent idea regarding the syringe, must remember it next time I have a fiddly task like that
Has been posted a couple of times now on this forum as a top tip. 8) Also useful for the brake master cylinder.
Anyone who has trouble getting hold of a syringe can drop me a PM. (all clean and new, nothing dodgy. Ehem :oops: )
Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.
