Im hoping someone can advise me here....
When I try to download a PDF file (it does it into Notepad) the text is a whole load of gobbleygook like this:

Notepad won't open a PDF file properly.
It needs to opened with software like Adobe Acrobat reader, that will open a PDF fine. You might need to download it if you don't already have it.
If it keeps trying to open it with Notepad right click the PDF file, select "Open With..." and select Adobe Acrobat from the list.
That should sort it.

Thanks for that - not sure what happened here, I had Adobe loaded for years and received PDFs Ok...Ive reloaded Adobe Reder and its working fine now.
