outdoor cover

Post by jimbo1 »

Can anyone recommend a good quality outdoor fully waterproof and breathable fitted cover suitable for a van - we tend to get a drop or two of rain here!

Yes -I have an excellent cover I use for my TR7 - from CoverZone - I got the Monsoon version. Not cheap - but it works very well and car is completely dry even in 'monsoon ' conditions. I have also put it over the car when wet (hate to do so - but the forecast for getting worse conditions !) and in the morning - the car was dry under the cover -so it does breathe. Word of caution - and rough/sharp edges will soon tear the cover, so make sure gutters etc are smooth - or protect them before fitting the cover. It MUST have the tapes below the car done up - I left mine undone for 10 minutes one day - and had to chase it down the road!!

Thanks for the info
i bought a cover-zone stormforce - like you say, not cheap, but hopefully the best! It will certainly be put to the test here.
