When removing a gearstick... ...replace the gearstick with a cork from a wine bottle to stop the plungers falling into the box and getting lost when you (re)move the box to work on your car.

Better still unscrew the plungers BEFORE you remove the gear
stick.... no worries then.

i got drunk getting the cork free to use. man! could i get it in position.

I used a piece of screwed up newspaper - saves Brixton's problem
