Moggies spotted at the drag strip!

Post by limegreen »

Three that I photographed, and also saw a Powder blue panel van and a lovely green 4-door.
Sorry if i stretch the page!

she's had her bumpers removed!

there's also a green van in the background - the bonnet badge on that had been replaced with a skull and crossbones, and it'd had a roofchop. Blasphemy! The interior of the black one was more than nice.

different car! matt black seems to be a common colour choice amongst rodders.
Image
again, sorry if i stretch the page - this one still has her bumpers, but seems to have had a roof-chop.. sleek. this one was running 12 seconds down a 1/4 mile, which is really good - admittedly she did have a v8. <edit: i stand corrected, v6! hard to hear over all those other engines.>

hope you guys had as good a weekend at the rally as I did rodding!

That roof chop is one of the best I have seen, it just seems to make the car look more squat.

the first or the second one?

I agree, the roofchop on that is verry nice.
if i ever get another car after my mog, i'm going to roofchop her and make a lovely little drag car.

Oh, I see! I think I prefer it black, shame about the loss of a gasser though.. I am rather partial to them.

I'm not sure that it is Canned Heat. This copy of SM was on the driver's seat at Neil's Springnats
