standard wheel sizes

how wide are standard morris minor 1000 wheels. and how wide are standard morris minor series 2 wheels.

All Minor wheels are 3 1/2ins wide except 8cwt van wheels which are 4 1/2 ins wide. Normal tyre sizes are 145 or 155x14 for cars and 165x14 for 8cwt vans

My minor came with 165's on standard rims ... stupidly I replaced them with the same before I knew better ... it handles like a dog ... stuck in treacle ... with 10 tonne lead weights tied to it's feet.

Better look for a set of the 4.5J wheels then - it would be fine !

Van Rims 155 or 165 - wider will fit, but not on the front.
