The second picture is of the centre-piece of Top Shop's flagship Oxford Street store a few months back which just happened to catch my eye as I walked past. It's an Austin a35 or a40 rather than a Moggie, but I thought it was quite interesting that a brand like Top Shop had found a place for a classic in its flagship store.<br>

Couple of photos I came across when clearing out my mobile to free-up some memory...the first is a piece of art which I saw in a gallery in Truro around Christmas time. It is by an artist called Sans Robinson and was called "Blast from the Past".

g day my only new car was a 1963 A35 collected from Longbridge with only 6kms on the clock, purchased through my father being a long serving employee and that they were on a :run out :.We put a bus seat in the rear compartment but no windows as we would then have to pay more tax as a private vehicle rather than a commercial vehicle being used for private use .
Aaah, I see my error, I meant to say A30 or A35 (which I can't tell apart, although I think the rear window is bigger on an A35 saloon), the A40 is the Farina styled one and first mainstream hatchback if my anorak knowledge serves me well. Pretty cars, there were a load of them at Gaydon last September.
