dash surround
Hi i'm sorry if this is in the wrong place (feel free to move ) how do i remove the switches on my dash to fit a chrome dash surround , thought i'd better ask before i break something

Remove the speedo. There are holes in the glove box liners to insert a philips screwdriver and fiddle around until you find a cross head screw on either side of the speedo which you then slacken and then grip the front of the speedo and wriggle it out until the speedo cable becomes tight.
You now have access to the switches which you can remove by undoing the locking ring and pushing them in.
If you can't undo the speedo then the alternative method is to remove the steering wheel and then remove the glove box liners so that you can see the speedo screws
