I'm just wondering what the best way to spruce up a prop shaft is. I want to get rid of the surface rust and make it look pretty (well as pretty as a prop can be anyway) and my first thoughts were to de rust it and spray it black.
Now I know that props are balanced, so would this process muck up the balance of my prop?
What does everyone else do?
Cheers
Damian

Paint is fine as long as it is applied evenly over the whole surface. What does cause a problem is if someone underseals the car and sprays it on just the half of the propshaft that is visable without rolling the car forwards or backwards and painting the other half....
