Is it the bit that holds the door open?

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

I reckon Ani is right. Its the actual bit in the back of the trav which locks the bar which holds the doors open!

I was thinking it was part of the door mechanisum, the one that locks both up and down when you turn the rear door handle, but I can't see anything that's that thin and has a grey line on it......

I'll stick with my choice though... Rear door locking mech...

Can I propose that future entries not be so out of focus that they're an unidentifiable blur? :)

The part is as original in stainless.I could have taken the picture further back but it would have been too easy, I used macro as it was.

I agree with the 'too easy' bit I tried to throw people off by cutting the mount down, but that didn't work. I was thrown by the colour but, as I thought, am now kicking myself for not getting this... What else has that thin piece of steel...????
Moving on.... Nigel... over to you.....
