Rear Spring Front Locating Pins

Post by stag36587 »

Hi there

In sweltering heat today I did a bit more welding on my floor. That means I hope to be able to put the rear springs back on soon. Please can anyone tell me if there is a special tool for putting on the front locating pins - looks like something like an angle grinder spanner would be ideal to locate in the small holes on the end of the pins.

thanks
Alastair

You could do - but usually - if new and good threads - they just pull up without any fuss. Slap plenty of Copper Slip (or grease) on the threads to try to keep them free for the next time !
