Floor and sills
Hi.I am in the process of replacing the floors and sills in my 61 minor.I know I need all floor sections, boxing panels, centre cross member, and outer sills, but are there floor edge panels to go between the floor and the boxing panels ? These sections are rotted out,so I am not sure what I need. Also, can anyone tell me the best order at which to weld in the new sections.

bah I need a scanner .... yes there are ... if you download http://www.zen30458.zen.co.uk/morrisminor.pdf
Then go to the bodywork sections R.34 then you should see the underside of the sills.
I have no experience of such a complete replacement, but I would imaging from the inside out would be a good idea ... if you wish to cut out the old stuff first then you should brace your door-frames before you cut the old cr*p out.

Her's a link to the thread where I posted pictures of the sill & floor repair panels for my '59 traveller.

You don't say what model you have, but the sill strengthener is only used on convertables and travellers.
When i did the job, I did one side at a time & braced the door opening and diagonally to the other B pillar. Then replaced the box plate leaving the existing sill step in place to help keep the shape. Then cut out the sill and floor. I removed the door to remove some of the stress from the A pillar, but kept re-fitting to check alignment as I progressed.
Hope that helps.
