ive just bought the new window seals for my quarter lights but what is the piece called that the actual window bit slides into? It's all perished and hard so the glass doesn't slide in properly (doesn't close properly either) , thanks in advance

The rubber insert often perishes and pushes the glass out of the quarter light frame. The catches also tend to break off, especially the driver's side. I don't know if the rubber is available separately. It is usually easier to buy a 2nd hand quarterlight

Set it in nuetral cure black silicone rubber. This is how I stuck my drivers door window - worked a treat!

that is the bit that goes around the quater light. the bit i put on goes around the glass then into the metal quaterlight
freshly painted 1275cc anda very loud big bore exhaust

no problem. ive baught all new seals for my door tops cause i baught stainless steel ones for my 2door and every rubber had perished
