Tool Box
Speaking for ignoramuses everywhere (or is that ignoramii?), can I draw upon the vast experience of veterans of this messageboard, and ask what you would all expect to see in a basic toolbox which would allow a person to do basic maintenance on a Morris Minor - and possibly a bit of restoration?
Perhaps you might to give three lists - vital, desirable, luxurious?

Here's a link that might be useful:

My basic toolbox items are whitworth spanners & sockets, screwdrivers, hammer, pliers, fuses, bulbs, nuts & bolts, screws and sandpaper. I got a job lot of various sized old spanners on e-bay for less than £10 and these fit all the bolts that I've needed to undo so far
I guess these items fall into the 'vital' category. I don't think I've got an item that would fall into the 'luxurious' category unless you count a sheepskin wash mitt

Feeler and tyre pressure gauges and test light.
Set of Whitworh and A/F open ended spanners plus combination spanners as extras. 7 & 8mm spanners are useful for tightening jubilee clips etc.
Mole Grips, pliers, pointed nose pliers, pincers.
Set of flat nose and Philips screwdrivers
Club hammer and ordinary hammer
Whitworth and A/F 1/2in drive socket set including a spark plug socket
That is the basics, after that just add to the collection every time you need a tool for a particular job.
Next make a list of all the spare parts to carry.
