Colours and combinations database

Post by Sidney'61 »

Hi all,
It seems Morris used loads of different colours and shades on the minor at different stages and of course lots of different interior colours and patterns, it all gets a bit confusing.
I was just wondering if there is a database anywhere with photos of each exterior colour and interior option for people to compare?
If not then I think I'll try and make one, I'll have to take lots of photos at the national, and of course I'll need all of your help with sources various rare ones! What d'ya think?

I tend to check in one of the Ray Newell books to see what colour options were available and when...

Cam did a good website (within the Potteries site) showing all the mechanical options - I can't rememebr what he did for colours though...

Ah I just looked and I think you'll be hard pushed to add anything ;-)

Thanks Ray
I looked at this site earlier and I do also have Ray Newells book, what I meant was having photographs of each one so that you can see what it should look like...

one problem with digital photos - the colours are often not accurate. Especially when you take into account the additional variation of everyone's screen (TFT CRT etc..).

Taking the photos on a clear bright day will probably help a lot.
