Well, the transporter arrived in Uttoxeter - via Dudley, would you believe!

I set off from d got back to Dolgellau at 8.30pm. Betsy Blue behaved impeccably all the way home. I missed third gear a couple of times, and she jumped out, but once I re-learned braking very early and to ignore the "noises,sounds and sweet airs, which give delight and hurt not" I really enjoyed the ride back to Dolgellau - she even managed the pass over the mountains five miles from home, on the road between Mallwyd and Dolgellau (just!).

I have a few things already listed to do, but all in all, I'm well pleased so far - thank you katiekat!

Questions for experts coming in a new thread later!!
