I've been preparing and painting my moggie. I never thought it would be dangerous but boy was I wrong!
I lifted the bonnet up to paint the edges and my finger got trapped in the supporting arm and nearly chopped it off. Blood everywhere.
I was taking the signs off the bonnet with my head underneath, there was a gust of wind, nearly got my head chopped off when the bonnet came down. My head was under the bonnet and my arms were waving all over!
I bought two pack paint. No-one told me it was dangerous. I did some test sprays and now I'm poisoned! My life expectancy is now 3-4 days. I coughed so much the cat is now stuck on the ceiling.
Compressors are really useful. I fell over mine and bashed my head on the pavement.
Trying to paint inside. Somehow my leg got trapped in the door. You wouldn't believe the bruises.
Cleaning overspray with thinners. It works great until you knock the container over and thinners splash in your eye.
The list goes on and on.
I'm off to hospital now. Hope they keep me in for some rest!
I'll email you a bunch of flowers! I must admit I've fallen over the compressor as well. Two pieces of polystyrene stops you poking out your eye on the corner of the bonnet
you poor thing - if it's any comfort, I now expect to be injured at least 3 times each weekend - usually grazed legs, cut fingers, dust inhalation - oh and I've had shards of metal removed from my eye at least twice even when wearing full head protection. How does that work!!??
It's an A30 that should have a chrome grill, the A35 has a built in grill a little like the early MM's. Good luck. I've been lead to believe that it's a little like a mini in under bonnet dimensions, so look out for your knuckles...
Check out the clearence around that engine. That's got to be drop only, you can't lift an A series out of there can you? Or does it slip in and out when the front grill has been removed.
