DVLA - "a technical error has occurred"

Hi, Is anyone else getting this message when they try and tax on line? If you do the cause is a new piece of software at DVLA that requires proof of the date of manufacture. I started getting this on all my vehicles a year ago and thought nothing of it but decided to phone up and ask.

Is anyone else getting the problem... does the club need to lobby ?

BTW I have owned the car and know all owners since new so I know itsa DVLA created problem.

I taxed my Minor online two months ago and had no problems.
