It rather works!

Well, after neil tomlinson saved the day with the downpipe, the car is back on the road! Its taken four months for it to be ready but finally got to drive it for the first time with the fiat. There are a few niggling issues, but time will sort that out. Only real issue is that the oil gauge pipe split and threw oil ALL over the engine bay, absolutely caked it. Hayho, give that a clean up and it'll be awesome again.

Just to say thank you to everyone who has helped, really really appreciated!

Two things you gotta do now...............
1) Drive though a tunnel with all the windows open.
2) Blip the throttle in a multi-story car park to set all the alarms off. The twincam is just the right frequency (childish I know, but fun!)

thanks for all your kind words folks!
Richard, it could do...something is clanging and banging at the rear which needs to be sorted out before i go on that long a journey. if i can get it sorted by thursday, then yes, i will be going this week. if not, then i won't be along for the three weeks following as i will be working the friday the week after and in Italy for 2 weeks following that, woohoo!
then i get back and it's MOT time, scary stuff! but, should hopefully get it sorted by thursday!

Congratulations on getting it back on the road - your mog must really fly now!! Twin cam plus fab '50s split-screen styling is a great combination!
