it was wilko's own brand 20/50W.
Right only good for topping up bad leakers then.

or for flushing a gearbox or engine?.. before refilling with better oil.
Maybe it's just me, but I put a pint or so of clean oil through an engine after draining it, as it helps flush out the remnants of dirty oil.

Sensible Matt, engine was knackered anyway. Had to replace correct engineering terminology by "knackered," real description not allowed on here.

Nah, I always opt for 'Motorway Belts' (well, 'M1 Motorstore' now). They have two stores in Hemel and am family friends with one of the Managers!

"Ballcocks" no Kevin I was thinking of something even more descriptive.
That'll do for starters though.

Went to nearest Wilkinsons but they didn't have Comma oils. Plenty of the £2.99 own brand stuff. They are selling 4.5litre Castrol GTX for £9.99, is this a good price?

Wilko's are definitely down south, we have one in Trowbridge.
Philip, Lynda and the cars.
