Vikki's passed her MOT!

Post by ASL642 »

After a bit of welding and brake "tweeking" she passed this afternoon - although refused to display her brake lights for the MOT tester until Jon spoke firmly to her! her favourite tester was on holiday  So we will be at the Web Rally. See you all outside Asda!

There was a doubt in my mind I think there always is when you find rust :o bottom of the A post - never certain how far it has reached. It's the one section of the car we've not re-newed yet - front n/s wing. Was waiting until end of rally season, but it couldn't/woundn't wait. It will all come off in October for a new wing and a proper job. :D .

Good luck to you - mine failed yesterday :( which is a pig, because I use my car every day! I'm desperately trying to get the welding that needs doing done - how can so much go downhill within a year? I'll have to make sure I'm better prepared in future.

Sorry to hear that - can you do the welding yourself? Hope it's all fixed soon
