Saloon on E-bay

Looks OK, but is listed as being first registered on 1 May 1971.
Is that possible, for a saloon? If it is, it must be one of the last ones manufactured, mustn't it? It's reg mark is BAO 117J and it's Maroon.

Funny innit? I had wanted a maroon Minor for a long time but never found one for sale at the right time. Been looking on ebay for years and very rarely see one. Right now there are 5 !
