A little ... we are ALL going to be paying for fixing this damned recession for years to come .. and y'know what, I bet all that money we spent on the banks doesnt actually fix anything anyway!

Sigh, at least we nationalised a couple of banks, however when the next conservative govt comes along Sid will be back, just you wait and see ;)

The recession means I can't afford to fix the valve seat recession!

AAh!! I see it now- a play on words- recession andrecession. Very good!!

I've been thrashing Molly (no, don't ring childline!) on unleaded for the 11000 miles since she graced my life with her presence, and the valve gaps haven't altered a jot! Just worry about the other sort of recession

My Series MM has a prototype unleaded engine (you can't just put an unleaded head on) and I have driven it hard for the last 9 years since the engine was rebuilt and it is still going strong.
My Traveller has a 1275 unconverted engine which gets the odd suirt of Valvemaster and if that starts blowing valves then I shall get an unleaded head.
