engine drawing needed

Post by Pandora »

Hi,

I'm trying to get hold of a set of (General assembly) engineering drawings for the in-line A series engine. 948,1098 or 1275cc

ideally they'd be plan, side and end elevations. don't need more than basic dimensions on them to scale them up. also, don't need gearbox sizes either.

does anyone have a set? maybe even in an owners manual?

(i'm not looking for the 'ilustration' external 3/4 view type drawing, so much as a set of 'plans', if you see what I mean!)

Many thanks

Sorry - only what's in the Workshop manual - do you have that ? If not - PM me.

looking at it, I could get by just knowing the depth of the sump from the block flange to base

Too dark to go out and measure it tonight - but in any case - the sump could be cut down provided the oil pick-up inside was also modified to suit.
