I've just paid up for another year at a rate that was less than last year. Same as you, I was with AON, but now I'm with FJ (underwritten by the same company as when I was with AON).

The thing is, it's not exactly the same cover: I'm now on unlimited mileage again (which I won't use - 1000 miles was enough :( , but I've lost my business use (which I never used either, just the occasional commute :D ).
Happy Minoring!

Mine went up a whole 3 squid this year - £73.50 unlimited mileage, including commuting to work and between offices, and breakdown cover.

Mine was £95 last year with Footman James which I though was pretty good as we are on the edge of London and the post codes do make a difference.
Cheers

Just had RAC renewal through. £75.30. Phoned FJ, was told insurance included full breakdown, unless within 1 mile of home, and recovery, no mileage limit, and european insurance cover and full breakdown cover is included in the premium of,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I used meneysupermarket.com to compare prices. That seemed to help a lot.

It's with Chaucer. I have no no claims for the moggy because I have 3 years on another car. I'm 41 and my partner is 45. We have no points or claims.

Don't forget to shop around!
