Question 2 - windscreen washer

Post by iddy »

The nasty mot man poked the manual windscreen washer through the dash :o
In fairness it was getting a bit stiff and finicky. Anyway, I've bought an electric one as a replacement. Where's the best place to put it? I thought of putting it next to the top up bottle, although I'd rather not drill into the inner wings out of choice.

cherrs,
iddy
First things first, but not necessarily in that order.

Mine is screwed to the bulkhead using one of the screws that holds the chassis plate in place.

Mount the washer motor on the bulkhead near the fuel pump. Mount the washer bottle next to it and use a light switch to operate the washers and wipers. Connect the cables so that the side light position on the switch operates the wipers and the headlight position operates the wipers and washers.

You now have a spare switch position to mount the hazard warning lights
