they do or the sit in the service just before teh bridge and wait till 10 pm
should not pay for it any more as when they only had teh tunnels it was ment to fund that and now the bridge (Q E 2 ) bridge well that now has payed for it as well
so as to why you have to pay both ways who knows
dont do it on teh 7th brdge nor blackwall
but yes it has now changed to £1.50

A lot of toll bridges are free to disabled drivers - but not the Dartford Crossing as it's privatley run
Someone told me they went over in a soft top Land Rover and were asked to pay the commercial rate. They climbed out, folded the hood sides up and said "It's a convertible so how much now ?"

I used to pay £1.80 each way before the price increase, going through at about 6:10am in the morning. Now I get up 10 mins earlier and go free in the morning and £2 at night for the return saving £1.60 overall at the old rate.
Worst of all is when you are held up for hours by a tunnel closure and then still get charged to crawl through a toll booth. I have only ever been let through 'free' once after a particularly long delay. Ahh many happy moments during 14 years of commuting over and under the Thames....

Just looked it up, Severn Bridge £5.40 return, or to get in to Wales and you can get out for free, and £10.90 if you are driving a Minor van, unless you can convince them that it is not a commercial vehicle. I tried to convince them that my Series MM was a historic vehicle and didn't pay road tax but I still had to pay the toll!!!
