I've been trying to find a pic but no joy so far. I think you'll find that you simply unplug or unclip the condenser and replace. Had this problem with other morris cars but not my moggy.

Thanks. I have ordered a new set of points and condenser and also a coil and a set of plugs. I am determined to get Molly the Mog going!
Your help is great, thanks ever so much.
I'll try that coil test tomorrow. Is it possible to test the condenser?

Thanks. Are the points and condenser hard to replace?

What else did you change (or fiddle with) besides the new cap and HT leads ? Have you tried again with the old parts refitted ?

Yes I tried the old parts again but she still wouldn't start.
I think some part must have failed.

well it can not be anything much that is wrong
go through everything on here again and do a double check
it still may be something simple
loose wire, break in a wire some where

She's running now! Thanks everyone who gave advice!
Looks like it was the condenser at fault.

Great stuff, for future reference if the point start to burn badly its often a sign of the condersor on its way out.
Cheers
