Wings and the like

Post by Lukey »

There's an travaler being stripped for parts a few miles away from me, would the front wings fit a saloon?

in a word, yes! as long as your "series" matched theres. if the traveller is an ultra rare pre '55 then they won't fit, other tehn that it will be fine!

First Travellers were highlight wings which apart from sidelight style/fitting have never changed.....

Ah ta chaps, I'm guessing these original wings will be miles better than the reproductions that are available? PSL184, He bought it for a few pieces for his saloon restoration, it's something ridiculous like a front bumper blade. Anyways he said I can have it after he's finished with it I'm planning to restore it but if I move which at the moment is looking likely, I'll donate it to somebody from the club.

The different sidelight and/or indicator lights need different holes in the wings too.
Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.
